I would go....

You never know what could come out of this. Maybe he's inviting you out to tell you about a promotion you'll be receiving. Or maybe he just wants to establish a stronger friendship.

Or he could be sexually attracted to you, and want to start something. If that's the case, do not get involved. Work relationships rarely work out and your coworkers will think it's innappropriate.

Go and see what happens, good luck hun!

Wow, he is a jerk and probably a womanizer. Do NOT go. I would refuse politely unless a crowd is going. It is extremely inappropriate to date someone who is supervising you, but even more so to date someone you supervise. I think you know it's a bad idea and need that reinforced so here you go. It's always a bad idea.
Don't listen to all the people saying it's a good idea - or maybe he wants to talk about a promotion, or work. If he wanted to do that he would have a meeting with you at work, or take you to lunch.

Dont think too much sweet heart! Just go... At times ppl wish someone they can rely upon or feel comfortable to talk with... to be thr with them, while drinking... Usually when they ask u to accompany them for drinks... its not imp that he's gonna ask u for commitments or somethings... It might just be, that he just wants to spend some time with u, n wants to share something with u, which is either disturbing him since a long time, or something he just feels comfortable talking to u... Just go ahead... U might make someone happy and relieved tonight!!!

sounds like he likes you.

At first, it would be a good idea to have others from work there as well when you have those drinks. After a while you will be able to tell what he is up to and whether you want to play too.

Enjoy!

Do you like your job? Don't go, unless you want to risk it.

You haven't said what type of place you work for, or number of people.

Don't go. Are you really sure he's single? Just because he's not wearing a ring......
