Depends on how heavy/fast the traffic is. There are roads where stopping to let them out would constitute a traffic hazard. But whenever possible I try to let people out.

It depends on the traffic. If it would not hurt anything I would let them go.
It is technically against the rules though and not following the rules of the road could lead to an accident.

How fast is heavy traffic MOVING? Considering the claim to actually be driving, it must be moving. Stop and go traffic, a) ~ traffic moving well along, b) ~ Seldom, if ever c). Just like grandma!

Look behid you before you stop to let them out. My daughter did this and got rear-ended. It pushed the trunk up into the back seat.
If you have someone to close behind you, it is better to ignor.

You graciously slow down and stop until they are backed out. What is the hurry? A few seconds won't matter to anyone.

Honestly it depends on just how bad traffic is. Being nice is one thing, causing a wreck is another.

If its safe to do so I generally let someone merge into traffic in
front of me.

id "c" and throw a chlorine bomb onto there windscreen. if they have the rudeness and disrepect to push in!! in front of myself especially id be furious, but if the road is goin more than 55 mph??? i wouldnt even be in the first lane!!
man i cant wait to hit the road!!!
