If u dont have too many friends outside of school, and you stay in home by yourself rather than go out, can this lead to loneliness and mental problems later in life?

Everyone needs a little "me-time" alone once in a while, but excessive withdrawal from society isn't healthy, either. If you feel tied and want to sleep all the time, are listless and easily bored, and sometmes even have trouble with urinating or BMs, then, you could actually be suffering from clinical depression. I suggest that you seek the advice of your family doctor; he/she may recommend some therapy.

You sound like me when I was at school. Then I was lonely & the more alone I was, the less I trusted people ( I was severely bullied at school).
Years went by & as they did I got worse. But I already had a mental problem then, it wasn't reconised at the time, & it too got worse.
Short answer: talk to someone about how you feel (school counceller, whoever). If you do have a problem (& I'm not saying you do) it's better to get it seen to now rather than later.
Hope it all works out for you.

If you are still in school then you are awful young to be that way. I like to spend alot time by myself, but i am almost 40. My oldest son was like that, then he started trying drugs and now he is in a re-hab. (don't do that). I think that maybe you should go talk to someone a counselor or Dr.
