You probably dont want to know the details of what is on those nuts, suffice to say that there are some people that dont wash enough.

YES!!! There have been studies done where they have found all kinds of fecal matter on bar nuts and restaurant mints. Just think about all the people you see in the restroom who don't wash their hands. Would you lick their hands? That's what you're doing when you eat a bar nut.

I could say a few inappropriate comments on that. But you're right Bars and public toilets are nasty. Some good bars will give you a clean bowl. Hopefully these nuts aren't left over. Just don't eat them or go to bars.Man these Beer nuts and pretzels make me thirsty. Drink somewhere they have more class.

Well, consider that the typical ATM machine, purse, and shopping cart have fecal matter on them AND sperm is on most ATM's. Ask for a fresh bowl of nuts. BTW, a bar top is similar to a desk top. In the work place, most desks carry worse germs than the average public bathroom. Just food for thought.

There are plenty of more important things to worry about. And bear in mind that the purpose of nuts at a bar is to create thirst. Eat 'em if you want to exercise your immune system, and be subtly induced to consume more beverages than you intended.

I would definately say its a germ pool. The safest route to go is to have the bartender chuck the nuts and give you new ones. Unless their peanuts with the shells on.

yes. Do you know whose hands been in the nuts and if they washed them. You might walk away with more than salty nuts in your mouth.

Yes....very bad. You might as well be licking the fingers of everyone at the bar. Only way to be sure is to 'guard' the bowl of peanuts, chips, whatever and let NO ONE dip their fingers in you stash. Growl if you have to.....

Yes it is, nutters have as much right to drink at a bar as any sane person so why would you want to eat them?
