Being legal is a good thing. Most of us are not saying being hispanic is bad, we're saying being here illegally is bad.

Being Hispanic isn't a bad thing. The only reason people make it sound like Hispanics are demons from Hell is because of the fact that so many hispanics come into America illegally. And by the way, its only press 2 for Spanish in other states. In Arizona, its Press 1 for Spanish.

Being Hispanic or Chinese or from any other cultural background is not bad. I have found there are charming people from all places. The problem is that the simple practice of "when in Rome". If I were to travel to Italy, Mexico, France, Russia, or Germany for example I would do my best to speak the language and observe the customs and laws as to not be offensive to the local population. It is a matter of having some respect for the people who live in a place that if you go there to live you should learn the language rather than expect them to change for you.

Being Hispanic is not at all a bad thing. Entering the United States illegally, however, is a bad thing because it's against the law and it needs to be stopped. As for the language, if I go to another country, I do not expect them to speak English. If you come here, you should come legally and learn the English language!

Only when they come here illegally, refuse to learn English, drain the social service system, send millions of American dollars to mexico that little or no taxes were paid on, demand that spanish should be the official language in some states, live 30 people to a house, sit around and whine that the United States stole mexico's promised land from them and they are gonna get it back one way or another!

No it is not a bad thing.

I don't mind dial 2 for Spanish, either. I mind things like signs that say 'Europeans should be deported' and 'this is our continent' and the Mexican flag flying over the US flag in the US.

How ever, that is specific people, and I hold it against them, not against all Hispanics.

Being Hispanic is not bad. What hurts your race are the imbeciles who come over here and act like America is the one in the wrong because we won't assimilate into the Mexican culture. These illegals are in OUR country. Not the other way around.

No, being hispanic is not bad. The only thing I wish is that the hispanics learn our language. If I were to move to mexico I certainly would learn the language.

No! it is not a bad thing, it is the ones that show disrespect to this country that is supporting them and their families, by waving the Mexican flag, and we want our Aztlan back, and American flags flying upside down and the Mexican flag on top, and illegals marching in the street ( Demanding ) to be made citizens when they have no right to even be here. They didn't come in legally.

No but they need to assimilate into American culture. Just like immigrates before them. As long as there is an attempt to establish a separate culture instead, there will always be resentment. America is "The Melting Pot" of the world not a collection of different cultures. One culture one language one flag. The influx of "illegal" immigration doesn't help either.
