It depends. I administer a lot of blood products on an Oncology unit and each unit of blood raises your hemoglobin 1 point, so since a normal hemoglobin is about 11 or 12, it stands to reason you probably have 11 or 12 units of blood in your body. Each unit is about the size of a large pint, If you know pints vs. ounces. There is about 350 ml of blood in a unit, but that includes the chemicals they put in the blood product to keep it from coagulating in the bag. There is 30 ml or cc to an ounce. Probably should talk with a doctor to find out the correct answer to this one.

its going to depend on gender, size, activity level, health and elevation. I think the average is 9 litres.

i dont know how much in litters but in pints i think it's 12 pints.
