I had a few too many Waborita's this afternoon. I missed the garage door a little bit and scratched up my truck. Should I turn this in on my home owners insurance or my auto ???

Nice! If this really happened I'd be glad to answer the question, as I am the only person who knows the real right answer.

I say leave the scratches as a reminder of how lucky you were that it wasn't a car full of kids that you hit.
Everytime someone asks you can tell them,

First of all ditch the alcohol...make all the repairs yourself, and when a real fender-bender that happens your insurance will not
go up! You are a hazzard to yourself and others on alcohol!

Neither. It is your fault, and you are responsible for the damages.
