Would you look at it as gift from God, or Satan trying to tempt you?

A gift, because a huge chunk of it would be used to pay for Mom's assisted living, buy houses/cars for my siblings & children, and setting up a scholarship or two. If there was any left, it would go in my 401K.

First, I'm not sure that GOD or the Devil walks around handing out Lottery tickets. I think it more like a karmic situation that is supposed to happen in your life. For you to learn something from or to put you into a situation that you need to be in for some reason. EIther a good or bad reason. Lotttery dose not always equal a good thing and a good time. It can be either. I really don't think it would hurt me, however it may come with some issues too.

I think that blessings live even in the worst of things, and temptations will always lay in the most surprising places too. Money being the root of all evil, well so much good can come from giving in the form of money...so it can't be so bad.

If I won the lottery, I can't really say it was a blessing from God, many have gotten poor after winning, but I would certainly see it as a part of God's plan, not Satan's.

A gift from God. A miracle as I do not play the lottery and do not believe it is right for a Christian to do it. It is taking money from the poor that does not really belong to you, getting something for nothing and endorsing those that ever do win anything to take from the poor and give to the rich. Just made so the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Since I believe nothing happens in my life that does not pass through God's hands first....I believe it would be from Him. Satan would have something to tempt me with about it, though. He'd probably tell me to go buy a giant freezer, fill it with Chunky Monkey, turn on my TV, and forget the rest of the world!

I think you have to go to the begining. God tells us to be managers of all He trusts us with. How can spending money on the lottery be considered wise management of your money. Also, something like 85% of lottery winners are broke in 10 years. What does that tell you?

winning the lotto is a gift
what you do with it is how you will be judged
If I won I would know it is a gift from God
and I would know it is to be used as His money

May all those aquire God's money
pray on how to use His money
Wisely

I don't think it is a gift...After all ,I paid for it with my dollar....
And nobody tempted me to buy that ticket....so I would say...it is incredible luck.

Well I would think that the guy who bought the ticket found some luck. What else?
