why do some men break up with woman without telling them?

It's not a very nice thing to do to any woman or man. I'm guessing for a number of reasons:

1. Fear of confrontation.
2. Deals with all of his problems by running.
3. Wasn't taught a variety of ways to relate & deal with problems in human relationships, at an early age.
4. Has difficulty articulating his thoughts and feelings.
5. Embarrassed by having to be the heartbreaker.
6. Afraid to face you, and your emotional response, if any.
7. Narcissistic by nature, and really doesn't care about the feelings of other people, or how he impacts their lives. This is a user.
8. To hurt you, if he is angry. That's unfair, but out of your hands, because you never get the benefit of defending yourself.
9. Thought he was attracted to you, but found out he wasn't, but doesn't want to face the awkward situation of telling you. He doesn't want to hurt you face to face.

But, believe me, you're better off without any of these types of men. In a trusting, loving relationship, communication is essential to keep things on even keel.

Now, here's one for you: What about you would make yourself want out of this relationship? Be brutally honest with yourself.

Make a list if it helps. The list should have all your good qualities, and turn-offs in your personality or behavior. Some times it's good to do a check up on your role in the scheme of things — how you impact others.

Because they are afraid of how the woman is going to take it. But seriously, guys, a girl is going to be more upset if you break up with her without telling her. So just suck it up and be a man!

The same reason women do. Don't want to face the consequences of their own action. When you break up with someone it's an uncomfortable situation, and most people stay away from that. Most people will take responsibility and tell the other person face to face.

cos they are not "men". they are afraid of the fact that you wont like them anymore...rejection is basically a guarantee that the other person will hate you. and they would hate to be hated. they want it nice...as a result...they act like jerks thinking it's the nicest way and that you are smart enough to understand that its over..it's just a pure lack of understanding about women. next time communicate to your boyfriend on how to break up with you. im serious. i do that all the time. its like a pre-nup. just tell them that you want it face-to-face and you want it done in a 'mature' way so no avoidance or disappearance. honesty is the best policy .

Because it's easier for the guy to just walk away then face hurting us.Men aren't very good with confrontations therefore they would rather just up and leave then spend time explaining why they are leaving.

cause they are affraid of negative confrontations. its a condition or phobia i used to be aflicted with this. i would avoid any confrontation with people if i thought it would be negative or bad for others. i would quit a job and not tell anyone i worked with and i also broke it off with women without telling them to there face or on the phone i'd just disappear.
