Always having gotten everything they wanted without personal effort...
Thus they have no appreciation for anything, and taking everything for granted.
Really parents fault, and now they pay.

-Not ever having to work for what they want.
-Being told "yes" or "okay" all the time.
-Having parents who are easily worn down by whining and complaining.
-Parents who don't know how to say no and MEAN it.
-Lack of positive reinforcement
-Lack of rules
Mind you, all of this, starting when they are age 1. When you can walk, you need to start learning all your boundaries. Too many parents today don't make definite boundaries for kids, and kids grow up knowing they can go past certain boundaries. That's why you see temper tantrums from age 2 in an individual all the way up to adulthood...then when they go out into the real world, they are unable to cope because life doesn't just say "yes" to them. I wish more parents would think of that before they let their 5 year olds destroy a department store and not reprimand them.

in fact, damaging parenting. Teenage spoiled brats are frequently childrens who have been spoiled - which skill there develop into some thing incorrect with their parenting. the mothers and fathers possibly enable them to do despite they elect, do no longer punish them or set limits, and supply them despite they ask for. childrens elect limits, discipline, and a powerful family unit - in the event that they don't have that then there is potential for issues.

Whining and complaining and no work being rewarded.
There's a difference between being spoiled, getting everything you could possibly desire, and being a spoiled brat where you take advantage of it.
