Any prosthetic device means that the person has lost an arm or leg, and a man-made substitute replaces the missing part. Some are used for cosmetic reasons, others are functional. There are prosthetic eyes, ears, breasts, testes, arms, fingers, hands, and legs...few people use toes are they are hidden by sox and shoes. Some of the prosthetic limbs are very ingenious and designed by aricraft engineers and doctors working together. Of course, they can't replace the real part, but with our technology growing, we will be able to create prostheses with sensitivity transmitted to the brain via micro-computers.

anything prostetic is something that is false. for example, if a woman needs to have her leg amputated, she can get a prostetic limb to repair it. a limb is an arm or a leg.

a man-made limb to replace one lost from disease or injury. some people are turned on by such things. cut off what i don't need and make me a cripple complete.
