Forget the jerk. Take the hint. He was telling you right there in a cruel way what you want. You have done the first step by changing your #. From there he should be history to you. You may miss him but not having anything to do with him is the best thing for you. Or you will end up with a very broken heart by the way he will treat you just by the way he spoke to you. You are much to good to be treated that way!

Unless you moved too then he could have found you. Apparently it was not a very strong union if changing your number was all it took to end a four year relationship. Move on girl you will find someone better.

Time to move on. Stop looking at what you do not have and look at all the nice guys out there. If he is your boy friend and treats you like that imagine what the relationship will be if you had married.

He sounds like a jerk and a little boy by not telling you he was breaking up like a man.
Find someone else, it will ease the pain, but, dont get serious for awhile.
Time heals all wounds, even emotional ones.

Missing him is fine. Acting on it and going back to him will be the mistake. You did the right thing and you will get over him soon.

it sounds like your instincts to cut ties are right on. trust them.
i had a friend with an abusive husband who bought her everything. she told me she felt like a crippled bird in a golden cage.
if you want stuff, get an education, create a business, get it yourself! the price is a lot lower.
