I am a divorced mom and I have has 1 rel that lasted 1 year w/ a controlling man. I am 40 and I am fearful that I will be alone until the end. I have one child under the age of ten.

You're in the prime of your life, June.....forty is not old by any means. I can make you one promise, if you get back out there and make yourself available, you will NOt be alone for the rest of your life. A child under ten is a real asset to some men....if they love kids like I do. Dress up nice, and go out some! Men all over are looking for you! Have fun dating!

Read a book called how to catch the man. Seems to offer some valuable info on such topic. The author escapes me except the first name is Christian, I have not read the book. Just reviews on it etc etc. Seems like it'd be a good read though.

Look around and settle for only the best. There are a lot of lonely guys out there. Be sure they are after you and not your kid. My daughter married a nice guy who turned out to be after her son. He was history and my husband and son in law went over and helped him move out. He was wanting to be mean to my daughter. My son in law wanted the chance to try out his advanced Martial arts.

start going out with friends to a bar(a clean one) or find out in your neighborhood if there is a singles party....ask a family member to hook u up with someone...don't be sooo picky try different people out
