I know the answer, I'm just bored don't feel like answering any, so I thought I'd ask.

Tongues is a Language, the day those waiting in the Upper room in Acts came down filled with the Holy Spirit they spoke and every one who heard them no matter the language they spoke , understood them So I have to think some ears were anointed also. the gift of Tongues not every one has. and when they do there is always an interpreter. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit with utterance is for every one. hope this helps.

Speaking in Tongues:
You have a room and there are 10 people in this room from 10 different countries of the world.
A teacher comes into the room and speaks to the 10 people.
Each person hears the teacher in his language from the town he was raised in, and marvels that the others in the room can understand the teacher!

The disciples received the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Day in Jerusalem. It manifested it self as a fire above there heads.
