Try cocoa butter, 100% pure. Palmers makes it and Hersheys. Rub it on 2x a day until the mark goes away.

I wish I could give you a great answer, but all I can tell you is that I've been using New Skin Scar Therapy for a while, and it's improved the appearance of the burn scars, but not by very much. I can only tell because I remember how dark they were to begin with. That's a really good question & I wish I knew the best thing to use too.

If in fact it has not scabbed over, the best thing that I used was silver nitrate. If it is older and healed already, try Eucerine cream my father used it when he was going through radiation treatment. If it is older and it is not painful (1st or 2nd degree) try using a light loufaa that you buy at walgreens or a drug store, in the shower gently go over the area to scrub away dry areas. After a shower apply vitamin E ( and cover it for a while with guaze) it will keep the area moisturized and help minimize the appearance of a scar. That is what I did on mine, I had second degree on my forearm from water.

I got a bad burn on my face that the doctors assured me would leave a nasty scar 3rd degree.
My mom bought vitamin E pills and sliced them open and had me put that liquid vitamin E direct on the scar and you can never tell that I am burned.

Try getting Vitamin E capsules. Open one and spread it on the scar. Do it a few times a day and it should lessen the scar to nearly invisible.

Dermatix Si Gel (mainly silicone) is a good invisible treatment. It's a little pricey but if the scar is not extensive may be worth a visit to your pharmacist (It is non prescription)

Any scar cream- the key to fading it is using the cream consistently and Vit E... I had good results with surgical scars with E oil (pure) and Mederma. It may take several weeks, but it will work!

depending on the severity, some small scars can be reduced in appearance by a number of commercial creams etc. and if it is a large thing that affects you then plastic surgery can have it removed
