I "died" 3 years ago and I was given a glimpse of what is to come. I no longer fear death and look forward to my life afterwards.

It's the Bible, not a fairy tail, not a stupid book, not just a story.
It's a work of art, It is full of historical facts that has NEVER been disproven, it has facts in it that scientists have proved to be true. In 1992, a satellite called COBE sent back information PROVING that the universe was began with a single explosion of pure energy.
So, whats beyond the universe to me? Eternal life in Heaven with Jesus Christ The Lord and all the other Christians and believers of other Religions.

Your basic premise in your question ("We measure things by what we are") sets the tone for the answer. Therefore, I'll follow your lead: the religious side in us enables humand beings to stress their dignity. The moments in history (mainly in teh 20th century) when some tried to delete religiosity all together, led to utter bloodshedding: Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot (Cambodia) and the current fundamentalist noise, which is the worst manifestation of religion denial because it's based on religious rhetoric.

I don't try to analyze what is everywhere around me
If I did this then I would never get anything done or simply would
end up in an asylum.
The Bible tells you that it does not have everything in it for if it did then there would not be enough Books to hold all the Information.
In life you have to take what is known and apply reason to it

I have the absolute certainty of my Salvation. I am going to Heaven for sure...I do not practice "religion" I did not even oen a Bible whrn I answered God's call to me. I aint got all the knowledge of the universe... do'nt need it... It exists and that is that.. I hope one day that God wll allow me to explore a bit of it... Like to see all the other worlds He made out there...
If you would like to know just why I am so sure of my fate I would invite you to read my testimony of my first day of The Christian Faith. Which I became a part of at the age of 53 just over 6yrs ago....Here is the direct link so you do not have to wade through all of my site to find it

Have you witnessed some of the "things in Heaven and Earth that are not dreamt in any religion"? Obviously not.

It's amazing that you can pose all these statements that no one could possible be sure about the way things really are. But then you make statements that seem to indicate you think you know the way things really are. You're sure of all things things we can't be sure of, how exactly is that?

That's the reason why it is called faith. Believing when all the answers aren't really there.
