So, I am soon to be sixteen, and I've had my eye on a nineteen year old boy for quite a while now. Like me, he's very Christianly, he's kind, nice, and we're both pals. Problem being, is he seems to show affection for me back, but I don't know exactly what to do, seeing as our ages are set differently. One part of me wants to say it's okay, seeing as my mindset, and maturity is much more than most females my age, but the other half tells me, "Don't think so honey." Would a three (nearly four) year difference be so bad? Advice gladly welcome!

Oh yeah, by the way. Dating laws where I live state you can date people over eighteen so long as you're sixteen or older.

age should never matter when it comes to matters of love! just make sure he doesn't try & take advantage of your youth!

Ideally age dosen't matter, but 3 years at your age is a fairly big difference... still when I was 19 I was dating someone who was 16 (with much parental supervision mind you) but it worked out well, we were both new to dating and took it slow and it worked out just fine. if you feel you really want to try then all i can recommend is to take it slow, don't ever feel rushed to have sex and be safe if you do decide to.

19 and 16 isn't all that bad but when he's 21 you'd only be 19. That's when the age thing becomes important, because of bars and partying.

I think you are tooooooooo young for nineteen year olb boy!
I think right now you should focus on your reading!! If yu were 18 or 19 and if he were 24 oe 26 that would be OK. But you have to focus on your readings!! But it's your choice God luck with 19 year old boy!!!!!

Nope...older is good. Because us girls mature quickly than boys...hence the maturity of an older boy is equal to girl who's a bit younger.
Plus, age doesn't really matter when you really get older...
