I am planning to attend my daugher's graduation from basic training mid-October, and the reviews I've read about this particular establishment is little to be desired. I wonder if it can be that bad as those few reviews I've read?

It is called the Navy Lodge, there is one outside of just about every Naval Base. I do not know if I would really want to stay there if I were you. It is where all the "students" at the Naval Training Center go to "have relations" after they get all liquered up at the base club. A bunch of drunk sailors making out and doing what is done in hotel rooms is never a good scene. If you want to avoid this crowd, as I tried to my 5 years in the Navy, then try to get one of the major chain hotels. There are many on the main road (I believe it is called Sheridan DR. but I could be wrong) BUT STAY AWAY FROM THE RON-RIC HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
