Get creative and kill a basketball for the cause. you could make it the "lampshade" ( kind of like an upside down tulip?!?) Why not kill a net too? One of a kind! over the light or get some cheap ($0.88) acrylic paint @ wal- mart. If you want it on the blades and plan on using the fan... you don't need to be a great artist. Good luck!

Be sitting down as the price will be most likely be high...
but have seen them and also as baseball...
Always as 36" models... now is your ceiling high enough???
Not just for fan but for one with a light kit?
Less then say eight foot and you'll probably want to check prices on replacement globes/shades/nets while you are at it!

Try Lowes. I got a fan where the blades are bats and the light is a baseball. The hub is a catcher's mitt and home plate. My son loves it.
