I am an American citizen and my Fiancee is a Zimbabwean national. I am pregnant and we have been waiting and waiting to have our paperwork approved in order that he can get the K1 visa, allowing him to come to the US. We will be amrried within the 90 days that he has to stay here and we will then start the "permanent residency" paperwork. I am totally stressed out about all of this. The processing centers are behind and we have already requested and been denied expediate processing. WHAT ELSE COULD WE DO!? OUR baby is due next month (Sept.) and I am just wondering if ANYONE has ever gone through this process or gave up and tried to get their fiancee into another country and then to the USA. ANY help, comments would be appreciated. And for all of those that are in long-distance relationships, whether by choice, or not, millitary, or not: I sympathize and relate to you! It's tough, but don't give up!

According to USCIS website the processing time for I-129F is approximately 5 months. Also, please check this memo released in June 2006: http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/statements/imbra_061306pn.pdf
Unfortunately there is nothing else you could do but wait. I wish you all the best.

I have applied for a fiancee visa for my man to be able to come here from Honduras. We applied in June of this year and are REALLY hoping that we can have the wedding in December. I am also concerned about the processing times. It looks they are delayed. I feel for you. All except for being pregnant, I am in the same shoes and it sure doesn't feel good.
