I worked as a Registered Nurse for 22 years in psychiatric units in hospitals. How do you know that you have all the symptoms of sociopathic personality disorder? They are listed in the book
DSM-4 which has the criteria that psychiatrists and psychologists use to diagnose patients. I don't know the symptoms that you have but one of the symptoms of this disorder is, lack of remorse. That is they don't feel guilty about anything.
You are worried that you might have this personality disorder, and want to be cured of it if you have it. That doesn't sound to me
like the attitude a person with that disorder would have.
Is your therapist a licensed psychologist or a Psychiatrist? If not, they are not qualified to diagnose you. You cannot really diagnose yourself. The people who wrote answers before I started composing this are lay people and are not qualified to give you advice. If you have not been diagnosed by a psychologist
or psychiatrist, then you need to make an appointment to see one.

If you feel the need to ask us for reassurance then id say that maybe it wouldnt work for you just yet, therapy helps when you accept you need it and are ready to embrace it and change your life
