I've worked standing on my feet since I started working at 14, and oy do I hear you. You definitely want better quality shoes (they pay for themselves in the long run, trust me), with some gel cushion insoles, and the soaking the other gal suggested should work like a charm. A suggestion? I never could stomach walking after a full day on my feet. I'd reccomend bike riding, even a stationary.

I 2nd the decelerate/velocity up suggestion. That velocity might make your knees and ankles stiff, considering which you won't be able to bend your kneen. the two run or walk (alternation durations of working/walking are terrific). determine your shoes are remarkable to your feet-it rather is not proper how high priced they have been in the event that they do no longer grant cushioning interior the final places. if your feet are flat you like an insule. Nike and Addidas have a image on each and every shoe that exhibits the place that distinctive shoe has promises greater help. take a glance at your old shoes- they are probable wiped out greater on one part- the two the interior or the exterior. that would desire to inform you the place you like greater help. you additionally can get geared up insoles, in case you do no longer choose to invest in new working shoes. continually keep your lower back as we communicate. in case you may desire to place greater attempt while engaged on an inclune, stick your butt out, and not your lower back- you get a greater clever artwork out, and proper posture places much less stress on your feet. Cushioned treadmill will help, yet attempt new shoes and insoles first.

I would get walking shoes to wear at work, if you are overweight, it would help losing some of the extra pounds, but mainly your shoes.
A good hot foot soak now and then to loosen up the muscles.
If you're not allergic or don't have kidney issues you could always take a motrin prior to the treadmill also

I use padded foamcushions on the balls of the feet which are held there by a connection on the toe. You can order them through www.drleonard's.com. Or pick up a good gel cushion in the shoe department at Wal-mart.

Some comfortable shoes might help, also elevate your feet 30-60 minutes. This may help any swelling that might have occured from walking around for long periods of time.

A foot massage, you can do it yourself. A warm to hot bowl of water and put your feet in for 10 mins. A towel soaked in warm water and then rub your feet hard. A pummice stone to remove dead skin and sodten up the skin.

Run some cool water over them , then rub "Mineral Ice "or rub "Castor Oil" ( yes, it works ) on them. Don't use both together however ; and let dry before covering with socks or shoes .If you have an ice gel-pac , you might put your feet on that for 10 minutes .

try getting insoles for your shoes and of course the obvious are you wearing comfortable shoes or cute shoes. If you are on your feet all day, it just doesn't make sense to be a slave to fashion. Be good to your feet, you'll need them later!

Have you consider insoles or orthodics.
I have found the Ryka to be the best sneakers. Most comfortable. And I get them on QVC for a very reasonable price.
