Ok, just understand that you have to grieve. There's no way to fast forward and get past the heartbreak. Just focus on your routine right now and getting through the day. Rent some movies, find some good books, hang out with your girlfriends (if you didn't dump them for him and if you did, let that be a lesson to you - never abandon your friendships for a relationship cuz friendships often outlast relationships). Be good to yourself - get a massage, buy some new shoes, a new outfit....when you start to feel better, start flirting again and opening yourself up to dating again. Do NOT start dating too soon and use somebody as your "rebound."

Remind yourself everyday that you'll be just fine and that the reason you're experiencing this heartbreak now is because there is real, true and lasting love somewhere in your future and this was preparation for the real thing.

A koala is sitting up a gum tree smoking a joint when a little lizard walks past ,



looks up and says "Hey Koala ! what are you doing?"

The koala says: "Smoking a joint, come up and have some."

So the little lizard climbs up and sits next to the koala and they have a few joints.

After a while the little lizard says his mouth is 'dry' and is going
to get a drink from the river.

But the little lizard is so stoned that he leans too far over and falls into the river.

A crocodile sees this and swims over to the little lizard and helps him to the side, then asks the little lizard: "What's the matter with you?"

The little lizard explains to the crocodile that he was sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree, got too stoned and then fell into the river while taking a drink.



The crocodile says he has to check this out and walks into the rain forest, finds the tree where the koala is sitting finishing a joint, and he looks up and says "Hey you!"


So the koala looks down at him and says:




"F*******ck dude......how much water did you drink?!!"

I'm awfully sorry your heart is broken. Trust me, this is not the last one you'll ever have, but hopefully, you will learn some lessons from it. If you can, if you have one, get your IPOD, or MP3 player. Download a bunch of sappy, sad lovesongs on it. (Trust me here......) What you are doing is giving yourself the chance to grieve, and cry. You need to start to let this flow from your system, and begin to let your heart heal. After you think you've cried enough, (you'll know this feeling, when you start to get tired of always being sad...) begin to put different songs on your player. Songs with a little more beat, songs of strength, courage, whatever, to give you the feeling that you are moving forward. Start to integrate songs of "being over" this feeling, and trust me, you'll start to move on. Reconnect with yourself, and your friends. Keep busy, and get involved in projects or helping others. These things may be the hardest things you'll ever do. Your instincts will be to run back, but you have got to keep moving forward. Sure, you may stumble, but that's ok. Keep moving away. As each sun sets, you'll feel the pain grow less and less, until it's just a memory. Lastly, find the strength to forgive the other person. No need to carry around that burden, is there. Let it go, and bring peace to yourself. I wish you the best of luck. I'm doing this myself, right now, so I can sympathize.

Hey Sweetie... I'm SO sorry you're going thru this.. From many an experience, the hurt does go away. I know, it sucks to hear that but know that what you're feeling right now is normal... you're going to grieve as its a loss. BUT .... same situation as yours....love sucks...
None can cheer you up except yourself...try to get busy...and get out wiz friends that are single and those that wont talk abt your heartbreak. Sometimes, u have to get out wiz friends that will talk abt your heartbreak to clear out your mind or to satisfy the need for a shoulder....I wont tell ya to forget your love...it can never be forgotten nor can you prevent yourself from remembering these love moments. Thats the way of life. Tell you one thing....God got something in store for ya...better and perfect...

Screw him, he didn't deserve you anyway, you are too beautiful and too good for him. And besides he didn't have any goals for the future so he would have only brought you down. Be glad God loves you enough to remove that trash from your life when he did. You could have married him and had a lifetime of mysery. love yourself and forget him. millions of men out there. but i cant really tell you that you will meet mr. rhight cuz most men are doggs. so that guy did you a faver. hes a jackass. i ended a 2 yr relationship and you have to completely try with all your heart to replace every thought about him with another one. as soon as you think of him replace that thought. it takes a lot to do this but everyday will get easier. dont let him consume your heart. heal your heart and give to someone who deserves it.
