In time it's possible, but why would you wait when it's so easy to treat. It's also highly contagious so you run the risk of infecting everyone around you. Just go to the drug store and buy something. Even athletes foot medicine works.

As for the people telling you to get to a doctor ... as long as you are sure it's ringworm there is no need to see a doctor. OTC medications work fine, it will just take a few weeks to completely clear up. Get an antifungal (most are the same) and start using it. Take precautions so as to not spread it to everyone close to you. You wouldn't run to the doctor for athletes foot, why on earth would you go for ringworm?

No, depends where it is, some places you have to go and get some cream from the doctor. but if it's on your skin you can use plain clorox on it. just alittle dab a few times a day for 4 to 5 day's. I' am a Vet. Asst. so I pretty much know how to get rid of it LOL
PS, just to let you know hon. I was just attacked by medicgvd on IM he was VERY rude. I was just trying to help you because it HAS worked on me when I have gotten it from animals that I work on. You need to do what makes you feel better rather it is the clorox which is on hand most the time or fungal medicine at a drug store or doctor all will work! Guess medicgvd just wants his answer picked so bad he's willing to attack others!!! VERY RUDE and imature. LOL!!!!!!!!

Yes. It takes a long time, though, and before the patch that you're dealing with heals, it might spread to another place on your body. If you want it to heal faster, you can buy an anti fungal cream. For brands or names, go to a doctor. By the way, it's VERY CONTAGIOUS!

Ringworm will just get bigger and bigger- It is possible it will eventually go away, but better to treat it right away. Could spread...Buy some over the counter stuff at your local pharmacy. Ask the pharm. to tell you the best stuff and just remember to apply it 1 or 2 times a day. (before bed, before brushing teeth, after dinner or so on) Just make sure you do it! Good luck and no biggie, just get on it.

You'll be better off using an antifungal you can get over the counter. Ring worm will spread if you don't.

No!!! Go to your local drug store and buy Blue Star Ointment or Lotriman. When you put the cream on, apply it from the outer edge to the middle, if you don't, the fugus can actually spread outward, bigger. Keep it clean and don't let anyone touch it.
