Just got back from the grocery store and guess what I saw..?

Question

Mexican families at least 5 with 2 baskets each. 2 women were pregnant and had about 4 others running around like a chicken getting chased by a fox (one little Mexican boy was actually spinning in the middle of floor) Mom didn't pay him NO mind. I filled my buggy and got behind one of the families (steaks and chicken and chips and soda) her bill came to 400 some odd dollars, she whipped out that free food card and took her 3 baskets out the door. I looked at my buggy filled with hamgurger, tuna, hamburger helper, tuna helper and a few other odds and ends and then looked at the hard 50 I had to cover it. Sure wish I had a free food card. Do you?

I don't see the purpose in bashing Mexican pple. Kids from every race can be found running around creating havoc, and as for comments of sending Mexicans bck to Mexico, I thought tht was real racist of u. Lets not forget tht Mexicans are the slaves of america, they do jobs tht white ppl wouln't do and for a quarter of the money...do we think thts fare? sorry to hear about what you went through but hey rudeness you can come across anywhere and with any race.Last week I had a similar experience while grocery shopping with my mom,except the children were black and the mom had about 5 of them.What surprises me was that she had a bunch of gold braceletts around her wrists and a cell phone I couldn't ever hope to afford and yet she paid everything with foodstamps.And then she had the audacity to cut in front of my mom at the checkout line,and when she told her "excuse me" she just laughed it up and was all "whatever *****,no habla ingles",so yeah its not just mexican people I think the whole welfare system should take a very close look in regards to who they give benefits too.Though i'm sure to most of you that's ok cause afterall she was american and one of the "good" americans that deserve help.

We see this type of thing on a regular basis around here, pregnant mexican women with five kids all under three years old running all over the place acting like little white kids. They gety enough for an army then whip out the old foodstamp card like its a credit card and away they go, out to the fullsized van , load the goods & kids then haul all the treasure back to la casa. I am like many who have answered you, I am proud of the fact that I am still able to provide for my family, it may not be the best but we eat regular. It saddens me to think that an American may be going hungry because an "illegal" has learned to manipulate our social services system. They get a better life, and the American public gets the bill. That is not right, any way you look at it. We need to change things here in America so that Americans in need are cared for first.

LOL, I live in Tucson AZ, and there was this time that I went to the grocery store and was having to count change due to the crappy low pay job that I had a Family Dollar, and as I was walking ac cross the parking lot as far as the eye could see were all these new and fancy full sized pick up trucks and expensive cars all with mexican plates mind you. I went and did my meager shopping and as I was standing in the checkout line were all these very nicely dressed mexicans wearing designer clothes an wearing LOTS of REAL GOLD jewelry checking out of the store and not a one spoke English, and how were they paying for all these groceries? they all had American food stamp cards and United States government assistance checks! AIN'T THAT SOME B. S.? Hell, make them sell that jewelry to get food! I am so tired of all this illegal immigrant crap!

I am against illegal immigration, but what you have just spoke of is pretty racist. THAT is not what it is all about. Did you know the families you saw were in deed illegal immigrants? Doubtful. I think what you speak of is the same as what the Klan speaks of with a "superior race". Sad.

I believe that Food Stamps are a great and necessary (humane program). You may be eligible for food stamps since you are having trouble paying for nutritious food. Please check with you local social service department to see if your eligible. No one needs to go to bed hungry in this country.

So glad that my husband and I can have the self-respect and satisfaction of providing for our own family. Does anyone remember that welfare was originally created to help support the families of fallen soldiers of war? What have we come to, now that people who don't even belong here, get what was originally intended for our heroes families.
