Absolutely. And not for emotional reasons; it's never enough for me to know that something works--I have to know why it works the way it does. If you are truly interested, come and let us reason together:
1. Preservation - the Bible has survived despite the attempts of countless athiests, despots, book burners and critics.
2. Changed Lives - You absolutely know when someone has received the Bible as truth. They leave a blessing where ever they go.
3. Fulfilled prophecy - About one third of the Bible was prophetic when it was written. Check into the number of fulfilled prophecies whenever you want a real epiphany. And remember, despite our technological advancements, our weathermen can't even guarantee an accurate forecast a week in advance; for men to have spoken to events that would be occuring hundreds and hundreds of years in the future? Amazing.
4. Authorship - The Bible was written by about 40 different authors over a period of many hundreds of years. They could not have been in collusion; better yet, why would they conspire to cheat us with a lie?
5. Accuracy - The Bible is truth; the fact that mankind has not yet been able to match it to its own belief system in no way makes it less reliable. For instance, when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, the Lord said the land would be barren forever. It is, still. And there is evidence of great heat at the site of those two towns. Remember how it was destroyed?
6. Its Miracles -The miracles in the Bible were witnessed by many, sometimes hundreds, of people. These witnesses said He won their trust by healing paralytics, curing possession, healing the blind, walking on water, and then voluntarily dying a painful, undeserved death before rising from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). Most compelling was their claim that many witnesses had seen and talked to Christ after finding His tomb empty and before watching Him ascend visibly into the clouds.
7. Its Agreeing Truths - There are no conflicting statements in the Word of God. The questions arise because Science, in its limitations, has not yet been able to prove all of these truths to its own satisfaction. But it will. It will. When I was in school, the was a theory that the sum of the earth's knowledge doubled every five years. That was before computers. Think about it.
8. Its Honesty - There are no untruths in the Word of God. Again, the fact that mankind's finite mind cannot yet grasp the information within, in no way lessens its authenticity.
9. Its Claims for Itself - The Bible's authors were inspired by God.The word inspired means literally -God Breathed.
To understand divine knowledge, we must reach out for God on His terms rather than our own. He promises to be found, not by just anyone but by those who admit their own need.

You mean the
Father all Mighty Creator of Heaven and earth
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.

I'm Muslim and I believe in God, Allah, the unique, not like anything else, he's not the father of anything, he's not the son of anything, not similar to anything, nor related to anyone, yet He is not heedless and inconsiderate of His creation. He is their shelter and savior. Neither is He begotten by anyone, nor does He beget. And no one is even close to being equal to Him. He has no partners.

Of course not. God is a silly superstition. It's amazing that people still believe that stuff.

No. I believe we use God as an excuse to kill and maim each other. I choose humanity over an abstract religious idea.
