You are probably comparing all these new guys to your ex. I suggest to keep an open mind and be open to new ideas and experiences. Don't settle for the ordinary just because you want to get back on the dating scene. Keep on looking girl, you'll find that right guy someday. A mini-makeover might help. Try doing something different with your hair or buy new clothes. It helps sometimes..

Im a 21 year old virgin at NYU. Perhaps try to keep your legs closed - perhaps then you wont seem like such a ****. Maybe dont date for a while - take a break.

Wrong thing to be worried about at your age.

I didn't realize there was a dating 'scene' in high school. More like a bunch of pubescent, zit covered, over emotional teenagers figuring out how to live in their new bodies and stuffing their heads full of knowledge necessary to get them through the rest of their lives (though I think fewer and fewer actually succeed at this).

There will be many more men in your future, don't rush anything, at this age guys come and go. You'll find a boy eventually. But make sure he respects you and doesn't try to push you to do anything you don't want to do.

How about just enjoying yourself and having a good time? You don't have to be "dating" to have a life. When you're "up" and having a good time, you're more likely to attract people than when you're being a miserable whiner.

your just not ready yet..when you are you'll know. take time to relax and be happy with yourself do things you enjoy ..dont count on a boy to make you happy...then start off just dating dont look for a serious realtionship for awhile..
