If teenagers are going to partake in adult activities (sex) then they need to deal with the consequences. It's not fair for a teenage girl to go out, have sex and get pregnant then after the child is born, continue a normal teenage life. You chose to have sex, you pay the consequences. A child isn't like some puppy you get that you give away when you don't want it anymore. They need so much from you, it's unfair and selfish of you to leave them behind while you continue with your life! They didn't ask to be brought into this world!
Oh...and I said you alot, I don't mean you, I mean your friends!

Just because you have a kid doesn't mean that should stop your life. Having a kid is wonderful and it is the most exciting thing that could ever happen to a person but just because you have a baby now doesn't mean the rest of your life should be put on hold. Yes you should put your child first in every aspect but if your child's needs are met to the fullest then there is nothing wrong with going out and partying. I had my son when I was a junior in high school I was 16 and I stopped everything. I didn't go to either one of my proms and I let all my friends go. I went to school because my mom made me do that one. But I went to school and then I went straight home to my beautiful son. Now I am 22 years old and I am single. My son is almost 6 years old and now I am starting to live my life a little more than I did. I started going out and stuff after I turned 21. But I have never over done it and gone out all the time or every weekend. But once in a while will never hurt anybody. It is good for me to go and de-stress every now and then because I work a full time job 8 to 5 and then I have my almost 6 year old son to come home to. So partying should be allowed to an extent. Just tell them not to over do it and if they don't have the money for diapers then they defiantly don't need to be going out and partying.

They aren't thinking and that is the problem. Once you have a child your #1 priority should be that child. Continuing to party and act irresponsibly shows their immaturity and makes you wonder why they had a child in the 1st place. Hopefully they will grow up before its too late.

Their priority should be their child but then again, they must have help from their parents which is why they can party like before...a child is a huge responsibility and it needs care 24/7.
My grandmother was a teenage mom and she didn't get a crap about my mom and her siblings, heck, she doesn't even give a crap about her grandkids either. She never learnt responsibility. She never should have become a parent.....either should your friends!

I think whoever the enablers are in their life should know they are doing more harm than help. If they are still partying and living their past life then somebody is making it too easy. Hard to party when you are in school, working, and parenting for your own future and your childs.

Yes, once they have a child they need to "grow up". They now have a new life and need to be there for that child, not for themselves.

Because. If you were stupid enough to go and party and get knocked up you should've learned your lesson, should take care of your lovely child, and move on with your life. ...or what's left of it.

they're stupid and were never ready for the responsibilty of sex. Immaturity is not a good trait in a mom.
