Sometimes, but I think the bastards prefer to do it on the carpet!

Cats will use their box as long as it is clean. You have to clean it at least every other day. If it is dirty, they will go somewhere undesirable for you. As far as the ammonia smell someone mentioned, that is from the males. If you have them neutered, the majority of that strong ammonia smell will go away. If you keep your box really clean and they still go on the floor, don't assume the cat is an ***! That could be a sign of something wrong and they need to be seen by a vet.

Of course they do, if they have a litter box. Cats are very easy to train. All it takes is one time putting them in the box.

Yes they do. Why do you ask? Is yours not doing that?
Sometimes, if you get a kitten who was outside all its life, and is not litter trained, you have to show the kitten what it is for. Take it to the litter box, and rub a wet paper towel on its butt. It will think the mother cat is telling it to pee there.
Our vet told us about that, and it worked.

My cats do. My cats are angels from heaven. In fact my cats are so great, they don't pee. They fill up glasses with water from the tap and pour the water in the litter box, to keep it clean. I love my cats.

If they are trained to they will. If your cat isn't check to make sure that the litterbox is clean. Some cats are rather finicky and choose not to use a dirty litter box.

No actually thats a common myth, when your sleeping they invite there friends over and have a peeing party in your bed. If you get a cat try and sleep with noseplugs. It helps me. Rolling over is a generally bad thing also.

Yes. Both of my cats use their litter box to poop and pee. It sure beats having them mess all over the floor! -RKO-

Of course the do.... it's obvious when you clean the litter box! You almost have to hold your breath, because the ammonia oder is so strong from their urine.
