Cars will be made until people stop buying them. It's a simple economic principal of supply and demand. As long as we demand, auto makers will supply. I hear there's good money in it.

Cars will never stop being made, however what you call a car today, won't look like a car in the future.
Eventually cars will fly. They will be for sale by 2010 as prototypes have already been made.
