No he didn't dip stick!
Genesis 1:29 says he gave us all green vegetation for food.
fruit of the trees and nuts and berries.
After the flood probably wasn't much to eat and he allowed them to eat meat. Didn't want the people to starve. But if you have food and it isn't necessary to your survival. You shouldn't eat meat. he gave us animals to love. Domestic animals like goats and sheep and cows we can milk and make cheese and wool and lanolin from the sheep. Bee hives if you insure there survival and do it the right way and take care of them. You get some of the honey. During the lean years you feed them. We have chickens for eggs. But it doesn't hurt any animal.
Shouldn't eat meat and God made the animals for our enjoyment . If you enjoy killing our friends your pretty sick.

Sure he would. He gave the vilest creature he's ever made minion over the earth and all things in it. But if one person chooses to not eat meat (although the presence of a short intestine shows the human body was equipped to digest meat since only animals who are carniverous have short intestine's) and another chooses to eat meat is their own darn business and no one else's.

It's true, God gave us power over all beasts of the earth, for our use of food. If you read the Bible, rams and other animals were made as sacrifices to God, even by Jesus Himself.
