Hello,
I want to install a set of dual flowmaster 50 series mufflers on my 2000 Crown Vic. Will 2.25" Center Inlet/ 2.25" Center Outlet fit? Also, does it really matter if the exhaust is Center Inlet / Center Outlet or Center Inlet / Offset Outlet or Offset Inlet / Center Outlet, etc...?

Free flowing mufflers are only a small part of a good exhaust job. Because the Mercury Marauder is out there there should be Bizzani, Borla, Flowmaster and other complete cat back systems available check with a performance parts shop near you. You will thank me the complete exhaust is probably needed anyway because your car has six years on it. Oh yes high flow cat converters too!

Yes it does matter. You want it to fit correctly right? You don't want to hear it vibrate off the body of the car do you? like the other guy said go get the exhaust kit for it. Buy one for a Marauder and will fit fine.

where ever you buy the Exhaust, they shuold have the one that fit that year/model?
