The vitamins mostly involved in converting food into energy once you've digested it are the entire B complex.Taking one B vitamin will not have the same results because it's the entire B COMPLEX that work synergisticly together. If you have alot of one and not enough of another then it won't work properly.Iron is an important mineral because it's involved in producing hemoglobin which is a component of your blood that transports oxygen to the mitochondria of your cells to aid in energy metabolizing.Things like chromium vanadium and molybdenum have an influence on your blood glucose which is important for sustained energy. It's always better to take certain vitamins like zinc and E separately from your iron because they may interfere with each others absorption. And for the other answerer the proper spelling is ginseng not ginsing and it has absolutely no effect on your heart rate. Not Eleuthero or Panax Ginseng.

Which you need most. If you do not need you will not get energy form vitamins. Have a balanced diet and you may try multi-vitamin preparations which suit you. Milk, fruits and white meat are good sources too!

Vitimins by themselves can't give you any energy. Energy is made when your body converts food you eat.
