Get a sea sponge from the drug store, wet it (it should be damp), and after dabbing the foundation on your skin use the sponge to spread it evenly and carry underneath your chin. The foundation will dry very quickly and you will look stunning!

I think for it to be natural, you need to find the ideal foundation color. You may end up having to mix up two colors if your skin is very uneven. I would recommend going to a Macy's or similar departmental store that has make up artists that will not only do a free make over for you but can also recommend what is best for you individual skin tones. Even if you don't decide to buy their product, you can get a pretty good idea of what is a good tone for you and how you should apply it.

Try using a sponge to apply the foundation. Try dampening the sponge very lightly with water before your foundation to make it lighter around the parts that need less coverage. Try also mixing your foundation with a little sunscreen or face lotion before you apply it to lighten up the coverage.

Find the right brand tand type and color. It may taking some trying out. And then use a sponge. And start with a little. Then add more if needed. Don't make it a inch thick.

Blend upwards toward your hairline. Also, get a color close to your skin color.
