Burning on urination is a sign that something is wrong, probably a Urinary Tract Infection. Along with burning, symptoms of UTI are frequency, urgency, fever, pain in the pelvis, abdomen or back. The best thing to do is to go to a clinic or an Urgent Care, you don't need an ER. You want a sample of your urine tested for Red Blood Cells and White Blood Cells and Infectious Organisms. Then, if the results indicate an infection, you will want to start on antibiotics.

HI, usually if it burns when you urinated it means you have a urinary track infection, that you need to medical attention for ,because it could get worse and also affect other organs. Usually medical staff would just have you urinate in a cup and they test it and are able to tell whether or not you have infection.
Then you are usually get an antibiotic to take to clear it up. So, don't wait any longer, get medical help and you will hopefully be peeing pain free.Good Luck & Get Healthy!!! My Best to You, Mary P.S, I've had the same before that's why I know. Ok! go to the Doctors!!!!

it depends on what u have been doing ... if u are a gurl..... and u drink a lot of caffine ... ... u will end up having a urinary tract infection......which feels like u have to pee all the time.. but when u sit down ..NOTIHNG comes out..and when something DOES come out..it BURNS... u need an antibiotic... NOW. also, i dont suggest cranberry juice because of the HIGH amounts of sugar... get the tablets in the herbal section of any store... they are called cranberry tablets... they are like 5 dollars a bottle... u really need an antibiotic though.. that would clear it up in 4 minutes... good luck....

Definitely consult your physician. Sometimes, this can be caused by a urinary tract infection or UTI. Sometimes doctors recommend drinking cranberry juice to help clean the UTI. If you have an infection, you may need antibiotics. Best wishes.

It means that you probably have a urinary tract infection. If it persists you should talk to your doctor. Cranberry juice and blueberries are good combatants. Drink lots of fluids and try to wipe front to back. You know what I mean.

It means you better go to the dr. You could have a bladder infection, an STD, or other problems, none of which will go away!
