Consider all of the people who live in the remote regions of the world who have never even heard the "gospel" of Jesus Christ. Consider the people who have naturally adhered to the religion of their parents and nation as they had been taught to do since birth. If we are to believe the Christians, all of these people will perish in the eternal fire for not believing in Jesus. It does not matter how just, kind, and generous they have been with their fellow humans during their lifetime: if they do not accept the gospel of Jesus, they are condemned. No just God would ever judge a man by his beliefs rather than his actions.

Beliefs and actions go hand in hand. I do not relate my answer to the superior attitude of christianity but what I know inside my heart and the teachings i grew up with.
Beliefs are the ground work of your actions. If you believe, you will act according to your beliefs.
Whether christianity is the only way and Jesus said what he said etc is for you to believe in.
I do not wish to comment on that as I am not a christian and there is no proof that this poor soul called Jesus, was killed when he was very young, that he wrote the bible.
The arrogance of religions has led to so much suffereing in the world and I am shocked that those in high places with power, inspite of knowing the truth, do nothing about the atrocities undertaken in the name of belief.
You are allowed to believe in what you want to believe in, but you do not have the right to destroy someone else's beliefs or their culture or their homes in the process.
What gives christians the right to force non christians to carry the burden of the cross of the crucifixion of jesus christ?
Some of us have nothing to do with his killing. Why do christians feel we should bear the cross and the guilt of Jesus' death?

Your question: Is belief more important than actions? Absolutely not! I know plenty of so-called Christians that do absolutely nothing to help anyone. They go around condeming everyone who does not believe like they do. Jesus said 'By their fruits you shall know them' If people are good they will do good things, if they are not good they will do horrible things. It's what each person produces with words, deeds and action that will tell if they really believe. It applies to all religions, peoples and organizations. I do not have a faith or religion. I believe that there is good in all things, but sometimes you have to look for them. "Seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened to you" Keep looking, and do.

You do not read the Bible much, do you? Romans Chapter 1 spells it out for you. God has given light to every man. EVERY man. It is how we respond to the light we have been given. To the people on the other side of the world, Rom chapter 1 tells us that creation is light to these people. the next step is up to the person. If he is responds to that light, I believe God is bound to provide more light, until they come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The road to hell is paved with sincerity. Our sin has to be paid for. We can not overlook this, because God isn't. Either we pay for it, or we let Jesus Christ's death on the cross be our payment. that is all.

"By their fruits ye shall know them."
This famous biblical quote from the Sermon on the Mount is intented to refer to false prophets, but in my interpretation it also parallels the railing that JC did against the folks who were using the temple as a marketplace (big money religion, any one?) and his lashing out at those who rushed to judge a woman and stone her.
Behavior is clearly important and is underemphasized in some Christian denominations compared to the necessity of belief (I won't quote passages here).
IMHO, it seems clear to me that JC intended to communicate that "deathbed conversions" were fine if the subject were to "go and sin no more". I don't think it was ever intended that one could "get away" simply with believing but not behaving in a Christlike fashion.
Let's face it: a lot of people do exactly that, and because of their hypocrisy, most of the *good* people whotry to practice their religion get lumped in with the angry, selfish asses whose sole contribution to Christianity is a fish-shaped sticker on the back of their SUV.
People, you know who you are.
Behavior isn't everything, but it matters a lot!

My advice is don't believe Christians.
Believe Christ.
I don't think he says the people of note in your question are hell-bound at all.

belief is more important than actions....but a true believer will back up his belief by his actions... i know this for sure...a christian should act like a christian with loving ways and concern for others...help a person when you can...it does not have to be money either...there is many ways to show that you are a true believer....

Action is more important. Belief is important in that it affects action, but it is the actions that count.
In either case, belief in superstitions is not important, and that includes Christianity.

properly positioned ...you're precise . if there's a god or no longer i doubt if he might want to need human beings to leap through hoops at a church to be seen worth. i might want to imagine that he might want to seem at how we dealt with fellow guy and to comprehend when we choose different races that we are judging his creations and that i imagine it quite is the try.and destroying the planet he gave us is yet another try that guy ( the most sensible existence sort ) is failing vast time

Our actions define our beliefs. Don't tell me what you believe...instead show me what you regularly do for 24 hours and I'll KNOW what you believe.

belief alone is pointless.it takes extreme belief to motivate into actions.i don't condone such negative actions but take the terrorists for example.
