everything i do my sister has to find some way to pick at it and she thinks shes right cause shes older and like she thinks im being disrespectful when im seriously not and this isnt like a sibling fight cause shes 33 she says that i need to be slapped so should i say something? cause then i will have to kick her a** but im not scared to i just dont want to fight. what should i do?

Quite honestly, if you want your sister to start respecting you as a person you have to stop letting her walk all over you. Tell her you dont care what she thinks and she can keep her opinions to herself. You have the right as a human being to have a way of doing things and if she doesnt approve than you are much more mature than her...end of story.

Don't talk to her. And at family gatherings just be polite. It took 10 years before by husbands sister stopped with the snide remarks.

Sounds like a superiority complex, see her and speak to her less often, like once a month or less for a little while and she might respect you more. Sometimes time apart can do wonders.
