Really good sugeons and heads of hospitals. If you want to know why though, think about it... do you know why they make so much? They have to know exactly how to administer every type of drug and also have to carry a lot, and I do mean A LOT of insurance to cover their butts. Anyway, that's what I know. Thanks!

Surgeon's. Don't go into the health care profession for the money - it's a lot of hard work and takes a specific type of personality to deal with it - tv makes it seem like a glamourous job - it's not - it's a thankless job for the most part! The money may be great - but you work 36 hour shifts, are on call all the time ... not much time to enjoy that money! Plus it's a ton of responsibility - that person on the table - their life is in your hands - you have to know exactly how much drug goes into that person - you are held accountable for everything!!! :)

IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PRACTICE, YOU CAN EARN ANY DESIRED INCOME AS A HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL- BUT IF YOU ARE IN IT SOLELY FOR SALARY, YOU'LL LIKELY HATE IT SO MUCH THAT YOU WORK THE MINIMUM.

CEO, CIO or COO of a hospital will make more than that. And have less liability. More regular hours.
