According to the bible he does!!

Taken from the book of Job chapter one:

6Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

7And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

9Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Do you think he talks about you? or gambles with your life?

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

According to my Bible, Satan tempted EVE. We are on Earth because that's what God had in mind to begin with. The dispute between Satan and Almighty God is a matter of sovereignty and who should be guiding mankind. The prophets were sent to allow those who would listen the opportunity to go the other direction and follow God's direction. Unfortunately many have decided to go to the wide and spacious way instead of the straight and narrow.

Satan sometimes asks God if he can test the faith of some people on earth. If God is certain they will not fail, and if He has faith in them, He might agree to it, but reward the person after. God doesn't gamble our lives with Satan, we are too precious to Him.

God relates to each of us as individuals because He created us just as He wanted us and so when the occasion arised I suppose He talks with Satan. God loved Job very dearly and blessed him greatly so Satan wanted to convince God that Job only worshiped and obeyed him because he was so blessed so greatly.

God is all wise. There were people and things getting in the way of Job's relationship with God and he was beginning to take a lot for granted or giving himself all the credit so God removed anything negative of his life. (thou shall have no gods beside me). God disciplines those he loves and knows the final blessings to come.

We all have so much to learn in our relationship with God and I, for one, hope he never stops teaching me, whatever the means.

A lot of mountains in my life have never been removed but believe me, when I thought it was impossible to barrel thru my precious Lord made the way and now I have never been so happy in my life and guess what.......

I see the meaning in all the heartbreak and pain and now.....I am greatful for all of them and never been more content or happy in my life.

My views on so much has changed and I can truthfully say: the things that once brought me pain are now those same things that bring me the greatest joy.

As I said God disciplines those he loves and I confess that after a bitter divorce I was bitter and found it so hard to forgive but when I finally did everything made sense to me and I was able to accept my mistakes in the marriage.

I got carried away so bye and bless all!

God and Satan came over last Thursday. They were talking about my sister's *** the whole time. I swear, don't ever let them see a female in hot pants. You'll never hear the end of it.
