It's not puke. Vomit comes from your intestines and your stomach. When you burp too hard, sometimes a little acid will come up with the air.

Yeah, it's most likely acid reflux and if you JUST ate, maybe a little bit of the food you recently swallowed. You might need meds. If you can go to the Dr., do so. If not, try Pepcid AC for a week or so and see if that helps. Give it time...it won't help with just one dose. Also, don't eat large meals, just more smaller ones, and less carbonation like soda is not so good. Of course, greasy and spicy food will make it worse.

because sometimes when the bubbles form the stomach acid comes up with it too

LOL...gross. I think you are talking about acid reflux...you should see a doctor if you do this very often. It can damage your esophagus.
