Has anyone been diagnosed with excessive tiredness during the daytime? How do such people stay awake? I could sleep standing up, sitting down, driving, etc. I am going crazy trying to keep awake.

Me, as part of my M.E. I don't (or more accurately can't) stay awake. I used to sleep on the toilet and I know how you feel. If you feel that is a real problem (as in a real danger), you could ask your doctor to prescribe you something like Ritalin.

Me. I have sleep apnea. I stop breathing in my sleep. Some symptoms are storing very loudly, waking up tired still. Sometimes with a headache.
There is a cure though. I use a CPAP machine. It doesn't always work but it makes life a little easier. Good Luck
