Some lesbian women fancy butch (manlike) women? and some gay men fancy effeminate girly men? i thought if you were truly gay you would want someone of the opposite sex to be a proper example of that sex not some pseudo type? I mean to say if I had to sleep with a woman I would want her to be as beautiful as possible as I would want to sleep with a woman not someone who looks like a man, because if I wanted a man - then I would sleep with a man?

Um, no. The main thing separating a man from a woman is the genitals, and then the personality. Some homosexuals prefer the same sex organ and dislike the other sex organ. When it comes to personality, it makes no different. Some women date men that as feminine and high maintenance as them. Some men date women that are as masculine and low maintenance as them. It has nothing to do with prefering a man or woman sexually, literally. They're just personality traits that vary in men and women.

You are missing the concept. Homosexuals are just like heterosexual people. Just like with any man who has a girlfriend you will notice that often times she is very girly and in the role of the woman. Where as he belches and goes around being all masculine. Or being the man. Same way with gay and lesbian couples, they have their "women" and they have their "men". Or in nicer and sweeter terms one protector and one nurturer. Thats how it is in any relationship, gay, straight or otherwise.

Im bi, i like a woman with pert boobs and a good personality. the only guy i like is my partner. i think u have over looked the point. each relationship needs its yin and yang. the maleish and feminine aspects. so really you could ask, why do butch lesbians go for gorgeus women? also. Steriotypes arent real. only individuals can tell you why or who they look for in a partner, gay straight or bi.

beauty is eye of the beholder but i honestly believe people are gay as a fashion statement or to set them selves apart from others or at least a percentage
