A lot of people have social phobias, which could explain why so many of us are on here instead of in the real world right now. I would suggest reading the New Testament, and going to a psychologist. It doesn't hurt talking to someone. Maybe your pastor could help you? Reaching out is a good thing, try it. As strange as it sounds, especially if you spend any time on here, most people are actually good. The one thing you should remember is "love each other", its the only command Jesus gave us. Sometimes you have to reach out to do that. Maybe you could try volunteering something to get the hang of being around people, reading at a nursing home or something. Or maybe with animals, they always need volunteers at animal shelters, even just walking the dogs or playing with the cats. Its a start.

Well, Patrick, trust is something one earns not something one gives without cause. No reason to trust your neighbors blindly but you may miss lots of opportunity to get to know some nice folks.
What makes you think you may have been molested? You should seek counseling from a really good counselor in this area. But don't go to one of those "regression" folks cos they can help you remember things that never happened.
There are loads of scriptures in the bible but the one that comes to mind is "love your neighbor as you love yourself." (Patrick, a clue---you MUST LOVE YOURSELF!) Do you love yourself or are you suspicious of yourself also?
I hope you find the help you need. It is not good to live in fear. Sounds like anxiety or panic disorder. There are several medications available that could help you cope.
Good luck

the first on that comes to my mind is
Isaiah 41:10~
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
These are some more I found too.
Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:32
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
Hebrews 13:6
So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?"
I hope these help. <><

The Bible is a very good comfort, and yes it can save you only ignorant people do not believe that it will.Here is one verse for you,Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. and theese are words from God himself, He says "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soal. but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Meaning the only one whom you should fear is God himself for he is the only one who can take you out of this world forever No man can do that! I hope that you can find comfort in the bible just pick it up and study his word, for he is good and worthy of our praise. I hope that you can overcome your fear I will pray that you do. Take care and God Bless you.

Honey, you don't need god or religion, you need a good therapist. Contact your local county mental health agency and ask for help. If you work, see if your employer provides an Employee Assistance Program and contact them. You need help, not platitudes or bible verses.
Ignore the doofus who is posting after me... they are completely brainwashed by religion and the mass hysteria that accompanies religion and god-worship. If religion helps so many people, why are mental hospitals so full despite regular visits from clergy and other religious folks? Why are there wars being fought now in so many countries? Why is our own country falling apart? BECAUSE OF RELIGION. Not helping... it's hurting.

The bible helps no one? LOL
Don't listen to that ignorant imbecile who posted above me. She's not very bright, apparently.
The best thing you can do would be to see a psychiatrist. It sounds like you've got either the beginning stages of paranoid schizophrenia, or some other mental/trust issue.

God has went out before you and has placed a hedge of protection around you...pray that HIs hand remain upon you and that he delivers you from this fear-because the bible says that God gives us not the spirit of fear-but of a sound mind...declare the word of God over yourself, that you DO have a sound mind and the blood of Jesus is all over you

Children don't have memory before the age of two, so the early molestation is possible. See a psychiatrist, and work through your problems. The bible helps no one.
