I once read somewhere that someone built one using an old drill press and a metal tub filled with dielectric fluid. He then was able to charge set the appropriate current and edm something out. I believe that he was using a pencil lead for the graphite.

I certainly would not use this without a lot more information.

You might be able to find a used one on sale somewhere. You should know, though that they have to be in contact with the workpiece. There isn't any way to extend the effect so that you can disintegrate things at a distance. That won't work.

There may be plans out there but more of a tap disintegrater
