I have a movie in Windows Media Player with audio and video that I want to burn to either a DVD or a CD...?

so I can watch it on the tv. How do I do this??

When you watch something on windows media player, the tag is " Playing Now". You need to choose the tag "Burn", then make list of what you want to burn and to what device.
Try to use windows help to read something about this issue.

just burn it into a dvd and place it in the dvd player of your tv

well it would help if you told be wich wmp you had but ill tell you how to do it on 11 [it probably will be about the same
it also depends on if you want to rip or burn it i will show you how to burn it:
1. Click the burn tab
2. then select the media that you want
3. right-click on it and select add to now playing
4. then select he arrow under the burn tab and select burn now playing to drive whatever
5. wait
6. tada!

first you have to save your movie, not your project. what i mean is, click the "save movie as.." option...not the "save project." you should get a prompt thing that asks how you want to save it. i believe there is an option to save and prepare it to be burned. or you can just save the movie, and use a different program to burn it.
