There should be an uninstall option in your Control Panel. (Add/Remove Programs) You would need to run that, reboot, then visit the Microsoft Download page (http://downloads.microsoft.com) and find the install for Media Player 10!

Go to the Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs then click the Show Updates button, scroll down to where it says Windows Media Player 11 and that will give you the option to restore the previous version of Media player, presumably version 10.

For XP SP2, uninstall media player 11 by going to the control panel, click on add/remove programs, then select the showupdates on the scroll down box near the top right. Then go to http://microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download and click on the download option under media player 10.
