I'm still friends with the last two women I dated. One is another relationship and I don't see her regularly. We still flirt a little, though -- I think she would date me again.

The other -- we've been hanging out about once a week. She's dealing with some issues in her life, and I don't want to stop being her friend. But, lately, there's been more sexual tension when we spend time together. Not sure if I should open THAT door again.

I have been divorced from my first wife for about thirteen years, which was somewhat acrimonious to begin with. However, we have settled our differences and are friends again now, but it will never be more than that. I gues having four great children, all grown up now had something to with it. I was briefly married for a second time but that was a big mistake by us both. Sadly, she is still convinced that the mistake was all mine, and despite living only a few hundred yards apart, we have no contact whatsoever.

Depends on whether the ex's have moved on. If so, yes you can stay friends, if not, then you tend to get caught up in the trap of hopping back into bed with them when they feel like it, that way you will "never" move on from that relationship and that will hold you back from finding a relationship that works better for you.

Kind of. My first ex only seems interested in me when he's single. But now that he's scored the girl of he broke up with me for, after 2 years of her declining him, I'm the last thing on his mind. Of course, he is selfish. But it's better this way...he's such a douche. Ha. My other ex doesnt' want to talk to me though b/c he's more use to avoiding his ex's b/c usually, and I agree with this statement, having ex's in your life when in current relationships, one way or another, causes pointless drama.

well i just got dumped and the only reason i'm talking to her is because i'm tryin to get back with her...i told her i could never be just friends and that if she gets with anyone else i want to know about it and that will be the end of it..i've already tried the just friends thing and it doesnt work because when they or you get with someone else even if they say they wont be..they or you will get jealous..it just happens..i tried to do it before and i had to end it..it was to much stress for me and it was easier to let go than to hang on..i havent seen or talked to her since and that was like 5yrs ago

Well after we broke up, we were at odds for a little while but then we became friends. Now, we don't see each other as much because we don't have any classes together anymore so our friendship deteriorated.

i try to stay friends with all my exs but it cant work with everybody foer obvious rasons. i have categories, 3 actually. theres "still like", "friends and more" and "definately just friends". for good reasons i always stay closer to the just friends ones because there will be drama with a boyfriend if he thought for one second something was going on.

Wel the think is any girl i hang out has either fancied me, or i've fancied them (i know how shallow that makes me sound). But i'm friend with only one girl i went out with but we barely talk. Another one is trying but im not caring.

You can say you will be friends, nut it never works. So I wouldn't even try to saty friends. It will just hurt you and the person you are with.
