I forgot what it was called but there is a facility in airports that allows layed over military personnel to relax. While they wait for a plane or just someone to transport them to a base. They often have a snack bar, a place to safely store your luggage, and a nap room.

Anyone know what it is?

I am going to meet some friends but they can't pick me up until a day after I arrive and they will be leaving a day earlier than me, so I need crash space when they're not around. (The jacked up schedule is result of me staying two extra days and saving 600$ on a 2 hour flight...)

Also: Do I need orders or will a military ID suffice?

USO lounge. If you're active duty they might ask for travel or leave orders. I used them many times and only was asked one time.

You will need your military ID.

Go to http://www.uso.org for a list of facilities. Note that not all of them are open 24 hours.

Bostonian nailed right on the head.

I've made great use of the USO lounge in at the Frankfurt Airport in Frankfurt Germany over the years. Great staff there and very courteous and friendly.

USO lounge. bostonianinmo pretty much answered your question perfectly, I just wanted to comment that I also have used them frequently and have never had to present orders or anything, just my ID card. that doesn't necessarily mean they won't ask, I just havn't been asked. :) Hooah!
