One of the 1st symptoms of bladder cancer is hematuria. A big word for blood in your urine.
The bladder is a holding tank for urine made by the kidneys and secreted to the bladder thru a hose on both sides of the bladder called ureters. If the bladder has to be removed because of cancer. you have to have what is called a ureterostomy placed. It takes the place of the bladder. The urine is secreted into a bag on the outside of the body.
