I meant hazardous in large-scale-------like are there any big industries, power-plants,etc. in this area?

I don't know Normal/Bloomington, but the paint shop in the Mitsubishi plant there would be the most hazardous major operation in the area, I'm pretty sure.

Paint is nasty stuff.

all human activities are harmful to something or somebody

somewhere in Bloomington, someone is over-eating, harming himself

somebody else is cutting his lawn, this helps some organisms and harms others

virtually every move you make does some tiny harm to something

you'll have to be more specific to get more useful answers

I think somebody out there shot another person at some point. That was pretty harmful. Also, hitting someone on the head with a hammer is harmful.
